Window replacement Northern Beaches

At this Narrabeen home, on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, we removed the original timber sash windows and replaced them with new aluminum windows.

Many of the original timber sash windows at this two storey beachside house in Narrabeen were rotted, leaking, or didn’t open and close properly.  Whilst we were on site completing a minor renovation of the property, the owners asked that we remove the old timber windows and replace them with new alumininium windows.

We also removed the old glass doors that opened out to the entertaining deck and replaced these with a set of large stacking doors, creating a seamless flow from the living room to the entertaining deck and backyard.

Additionally, we created a new opening in the teenage retreat located in the backyard and installed a set of new double hinged doors that opened up directly onto a paved patio area.

We also installed a skylight in the roof of the outdoor patio to bring more natural light into the area.

The old sash windows had become a problem for the owners so they were ecstatic with the new aluminium windows installed. They open and close easily, are low maintenance and will drastically reduce thermal loss during winter.
